Some more images from the highspec apartment that turned out ok.
Again alot of the stuff has been custom modelled etc. and way too many revisions to keep track off.

    Cheers

I think the skyline in the window looks a bit too bright - the street lights wouldn't be as pronounced if there was as much light in the sky - just seems as if it's been pushed / clipped a little? The details are so nicely done though - really crisp modelling. Fantastic work.

I really like them. Nice work.

I agree about the backgrounds though, too bright. Also in the last image the towels seem to be a bit too bright and you can't see their detail.

It's a tough one alright - I like the range and the intensity that the burnout give it alright - maybe worth doing a render with reinhard mapping and pulling down the burn value a tad?

Only reason I say about the first render bg is I'm doing a lot of photography at the minute and it's going to be hard to get an exposure like that - it gives it a bit of a HDRI feel where everything is brought into the same middle level of brightness and you don't get the same level of depth and eye drawing that you'd get with a light and dark area in an image. Again great work though.

Yep I certainly did blow out the background, I pulled the exposure of the background back a fair bit, see below and I think it looks heaps better.
I probally have the HDRI light cranked up a bit too high as well.

              Hi

i think you need to work on the interior lighting more to be honest, they should be a lot softer, Try using an exit colour of dark green for your glass also..

                  hi

Hmmm, you could go round in cricles here! The first post was best - the slightly overexposed background adds drama by allowing for the strong blue light coming in - if you darken the background the blue light looks wrong. Dont want to sound contradictory to these guys but for my money the first images are spot on - very good job. Some people just want to crit regardless!

Very nice renders! I agree with deflix (I think the vibrancy and color of the original renders gives the images much more life).
