Here its is after a couple of problem and bug, starting to have some decent renders, im still working on it and trying to refine. I still have some little problem with the GI and some blotchiness around curved surface,I have another post in the problem section with certain region of my render showing the blotchiness and all my settings, if you want to reffer to are i can always post back my settings here. Any help and c&c are most welcome!

    Best regards

COngratulations very professional level of quality

something strange only in the lower side of the armchairs in the last image seems not touch the floor but maybe i misunderstood the design.

But really very nice illumination and materials.

Thx for your comments, there s nothing wrong with the seats, we just dont see it from the point of view, but theres the tubing we see thats is not touching the ground, there s 2 main bracket that touch the floor, one in the middle the other near the wall, but at the end of this bracket there 's a system that clip in rail and slide with bolt to adjust height, thats why it gives the impression of floating, i could post another image of a close up shot of this area.

thx again for your comments, Anyone else, im looking for advice to keep the quality of the gi but lowering my render time, i have hard time to keep my gi clean around curved surface like the bin inside, ill have animation to do out of this scene and i definetly need to keep a good average time for my renders, near 3000 frames to render! Any help and advice would be greatly apprecieated!

Thx! Here s my setting, I had to go really up with Irr.Map or blotchiness appear( ihave another post in the problem section if you want to reffer to), i ll have animation over 3000 frames to render out of this scene + a couples of thousand of frames at 1200*800 resolution.Depending of the pov im at average 3hrs30/ frame, which is way too high and i dont want to sacrifice too much the quality of the project. Any guidance and help would be much appreciated!

                Best regards

Well I dont know who you consider the pro's, but Ill comment. All around its pretty nice work. A little antiseptic, but that's not always within your control. Would love to see some additional lighting versions, like how it would look at different times of day.

I think the settings looks quite ok, so I can't quite understand you get 3h30 for one frame.

I would change the AA to area, catmull just adds some fake sharpening that really should be done in post.

And you could increase the intep. samples to blur the result out some more and have less splotches.

And clr. thresh is set to .1 which is very low, I never go below 0.2 since it starts to get really slow.

And I would set the default geometry to Auto, dynamic is really slow especially if it isn't needed, but there might be a reason that i can't see to why it's set to dynamic.

for your animation you need to save out the irradiance map and lightcache so it doesn't have to calculate for each frame, that should help on rendertime quite a lot, just don't hope you have animated lights or objects.

                      oh.. and nice renderings

                        thx guys!

-Percy: yes i know about the antiseptic but color and mat are from client, I will do different light setup to show different lighting mood inside.

-Suurland: I'll check and test on the color thresh, get it back to 0.2, raise up a little my interp. samples to blur a little more and put my geometry to Auto ( didnt notice this one! thx.) For the animation i will use pre-calculated Irr.Map and Lc, Im testing right now the new feature: use camera path, anyone got input on this feature?

                        Regards

In the DMC samples box, your min. samples should be to 25, and your global subdiv. to 4
By increasing this, you will be able to drop down , in the Irr map. the HS samples to about 55-60. and the Ctrl Thresh and Nrm Tresh. to regular values, yours are way overkill.

if you are doing an animation, mabee you need to re-think your AA filter.
Your bucket size could also be increased, for some performance gain.

For the visual itself: overall good looking.
There is little lack of contrast in the image, as usually, in planes, not much light reach under the seats.

Thx Thablanch, ill try to raise my samples and the global subdivision, by doing this ill be able to lower my Irr.map if i get you right! You think i ll get a gain in perfomance if increased my bucket size? increase up to?

BTW.. just for you to know...
This project is super confidential, so I ain't sure it is a good Idea to show it on forums. You ( or your employer) did sign a paper about that.
Not that I do not like to see your work.. I just would not like to see your a** wh****d

For the bucket size, it is relative to your hardware, but if you have a decent machine, 96 is kinda of a sweet spot.
