  • Exterior Rendering Tests

Hi, i would like to show you some of my last exterior rendering test, and would be more than happy to hear your comments and suggestion for improvements

for setup, i used vray sun and sky with standard setting, and change the iso from the vraycam to about 65, depending on the scene. Irr+ Bruteforce and gamma 2.2

    thanks a lot guys!!!!!!!

The subtle dof is lovely - First image is great. The water on the second one is a little off - I think the size of the noise / bumps in it are a little large. Not a huge fan of the colours of the house either but that might be a client thing or you're matching a photo?

Either way really nice work - far better than my exteriors at the minute

hi joconnell, thanks for taking time to give me feedback!!!

i think you are right with the second image,i couldnt figure it out by myself whats wrong with that image. the water waves seems to be really to big, i will render it again to see if it looks better. thanks again.

the first two houses where rebuild from pictures i found on the inet, so i also tried to took the original colores...

the third house, was created from cad plans from a friend of mine, who is going to build that house for him and his family. I rendered him out some views to give his family an impression how everything is going to look like.....

the goals for this testrenderings were to create myself a template scene for exteriors, so that i can just drag an drop new models in without setting up my renderingsettings and light/material everytime....

thanks again, and best regards from austria

Yeah it seems good - it looks like you were going for the same idea as fekta.studio on here posted - he has a post with some sun / sky tests which were really impressive - yours are definitely headed that direction!
