nice work, great detail and the camera view is pretty cool. At first i saw the window and thought it was a picture on the wall though - maybe it needs a bit of tweaking
I think once you have the empty rooms either side filled out it will look pretty finalised. Did you leave them out so it didnt distract? I was thinking the fact that the rooms are empty is more distracting personally
The work you have done is really nice though. good objects and mats and atmosphere. I'd personally add a bit more light though as it is a touch gloomy imo
paulison - thanks. I agree about the extra rooms. Its not part of the contract, but fortunately we'll be getting doors today to close that off. I'll take a look at the lighting and see if I can tweak it. They had me take a lamp off the table which added some nice orange glow. I wish it was still in there.
theblanch - I think its coming from the Vray IES lights. I know it was a known issue with the light shooting backwards out from the IES, but I'll search the forums to see if there's an alternate solution. The VrayIES is so great, I'd hate to have to revert back to crazy maps to get the right falloff.
I'll post some updates hopefully by the end of the day.
Updates on the images. I haven't been able to correct the VrayIES file problem, so I had to resort to the max IES lights. You'll have to excuse the one light. It appears to have burnt out. I've got the tech in there fixing it.
Client also changed the table top to wood. I definitely prefer the leather.
