Beeeeutiful, Vlado! One question: will we be able to adjust the "coarseness" of the surface? Perhaps by scaling the effect up or down, adjusting the "groove" width, depth?

I have a question... what if you want the anisotropism to flow in different directions? lets say a brushed metal, when the brush has a pattern of flow... can you use a map to define what direction the flow is in? Or define something circular such as a CD?

Vlado and Peter are in Denmark, for the 3D festival. They should be back next week.

Sorry for the late reply; I was away for the 3d festival... yes, you can adjust the strength of the effect.

                              Best regards,
                              Vlado

I just downloaded the latest demo but I can't seem to get the new anistropic feature to work.

Do you need to use glossy reflections or fresnel reflections in conjuction with the new feature? I tried the settings at various levels with no luck.

Any tips on how to get it to work would be appreciated, or is it disabled in the demo version? This feature alone will sell a hell of a lot of copies to architectural artist! Great feature. Thanks
