  • Trees & plants - Time to play

    Hi All,

Don't you love that moment just after finishing a job when you get inspired to do some renders just the way you would have....without Architects & clients telling you how it should be done.

    Cheers

Good stuff. Did these start from something like onyx and then get improved or are these all by your own hand. I would be interested in knowing a little bit about how you went about making these. Very nice.

Plants were built by hand by my contract modeler. The results he gets seem so much better than any software out there so it's worth the extra cost in my eyes. The palms were a free download from the net that I got him to modify & improve.

Oh yes!! where would I be without good ol VRay2sided material...I use it on ALL my trees & plants as it is sooo fast & gives really good results.

I spend a lot of time on the plant textures & materials as that is what makes the biggest difference I feel. As usual there is no substitute for hard work & time.
