  • New website

Just finished(?) building a new site to highlight some of my latest work from the past couple of years (my last site had some horribly outdated images and was a pain in the a$$ to update). It's been a while since I've posted anything here so it has a lot of my most recent work, all done with Vray of course.

Please visit it at www.dpict3d.com and let me know what you think. Comment or critique on the website or the images. I've got a few small things to fix but it's just about all there.

BTW: I initially tried using Wix.com to build a pretty similar site and although I was able to get the layout working well it used about 600-750MB to load the page for some reason(!?!) making it pretty unusable for anyone not working with a minimum of 2gb of ram. I had to abandon that and break down and learn flash to get the site I wanted so this is my first flash site (and only my second site). Enjoy.

Great images and nice website. It's good to see a fellow Chicago artist on this site.

So you're the one that did the renderings for Ball Hospital! I kept looking at the printouts in the hospital lobby thinking 'That looks like vray. I wonder who did those'. I live in Muncie. My dad was just in there for about a week. The remodeling looks exactly like your renders. You nailed it good.

On a side note, I wish I lived in Chicago. I love that city. Don't get to go up there as much as I'd like. You hiring?

Luckily I had an 'in' on Ball, my wife works at the firm. Those images look a little dated to me as I did them in 2006 but thanks.

Hiring?? God no, it's so slow it's painful sometimes and it's really been just me anyways.

I tweaked a few things on the site but no really big changes other than a few new images. Here's a few screencaps though...
