  • glass test with caustics and smoke option! comments please

    Hi,

I was testing with glass a bit. This one uses GI, caustics, GI caustics,...

I used a white refraction color and a light blue color for smoke color to tint the glass. I couldn't find another way to get transparant shadows, although 'transp shadows' is always checked for my light. Only with the smoke option I could create transp ones. And of course because of the caustics!

    Suggestions are welcome!

Try to change the depht value a bit, and you can also play with fog multiplier.

To get transparent shadows without caustics you need to check Affect shadows option.

      Hi Goncalo,

Which depth value do you mean?
