So for what did you used Simcloth?

By the way looks extremly cool. Only the collision between some feathers don't work good. The Dynamics are Shag? That would explain much. Maybe you could share the scene, or discripe what you did, because I do a lot of Shag-Vray test at the moment too.

there is no opacity to the feathers. The dyanamics are simcloth. Yeah there is some collision but it was a pretty quick setup and first test render. I posted it cause I thought it turned out so good for a first time.

              http://myweb.cableone.net/amylenhart...atherstest.zip

needs shag:fur, simcloth 2.5 and vray advanced

just hit start calculation and itll look like the anim

Now I understand, but I have some problems here.

1.) The Hair don't render with Version 15. (I had to install a newer Version.)
                2.) It doesn't work with SimCloth 3 (I installed simcloth 2.5 again)

SimCloth is way better in Dynamics then Shag, but 2.5 is so slow...

Well I do not have a problem, but I had. Beside this I have done a small bird animation, but I don't think Dynamics are so good. So I will wait till simcloth 3 is supported..
