nice job. the railroad tracks image is begging to be seen in a wider aspect resolution.

      yeah very nice.
I agree with Percy's comments on the aspect of the railroad tracks.
Possibly a different sun position on the tree image might be nice, just to get a bit more contrast going on

        Yep

        thanks lads,

will try the suggestions, problem is that Forest Pro and VRayScatter are just too much fun..........have too many little 'test' projects on the go!

So which one you prefer? Scatter or Forest?

            Good question..........

At first it was VRayScatter as Forest Pro didn't have the range of options, but now it has similar, I think VRayScatter has the edge, though..................

after a fatal motherboard failure, having to install a new harddisk and wait 2 months for a new VRayScatter licence, I luckily found Forest Pro Lite, finished the job and purchased Forest Pro within 2 days of my mishap, having a far easier licencing procedure with 4 or 5 re-install options I prefer Forest Pro.

For my usage so far I cannot see the difference as haven't needed VRayScatter's advanced options and I love Forest Pro's feature of multiple tree meshes and not being tied to VRay proxies, also if I need to render stuff via Mental Ray, hey presto...............

Both images were done with Forest Pro.
