  • wip - single story glass building

    Hi guys,

    Im currently working on this building set into an environment. What do you think of it so far and please please let me know if you have any ideas on improving the render, lighting etc

    Looks very good so far mate. I realise you're trying to show off the sedum roof, but a lower camera angle would help the image. You perhaps will need more than one shot.

    Also I'd look into some alternative exterior finished to all render, perhaps some cedar boarding will work well with the environmental theme.

    Just my 0.012 pence!

        hoho.

        tct70 - The client is being very specific about the types of finish so I cant change any of that unfortunately. There is ceder boarding on the structure, but most of it is on the ends and round the other side...the client chose the angle too.

              I would suggest some tree shadowing in the scene as you have a lot of trees in the background/composite. It will help breakup the 'even' lighting a bit.

                Do you mean behind the camera to cast shadows on the grass in front ?

                  Yeah....that should do the trick!! That will darken the foreground & make the house in the center more of a focal point.

                    Ill give that a go. Its with the client at the moment so will get some feedback next week...probably going to be putting some furniture inside to make it more believable.
