This is some seriously VERY nice work.

Care to share a bit behind the scenes ? As in is it all VRay ? What other tools were used ?

    Amazing stuff!

    Kind Regards,

      Really REALLY impressive !!!

I saw it yesterday and didn't knew it was made with VRay. Not sure Napoleon would have agreed

Very nice. For me skin is just a bit shiny, than I expected.

Oh and maybe the fire and smoke (1m23s) composed a bit darker...
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

The audio was way out of sync for me?

Also the skin is too transparent I think, not right anyway, He looks like an animated wax model. (im being picky here, its very very good really)

I love it, great job. The way the skin responds when the background action lightens up is amazing.

I know this may sound weird but at times his eyes make it look like he is reading from a tele prompter...

Did you use motion capture in this?

That is ridiculously good. I had to watch it a couple of times because I was so focused on Napoleon!

I do have a question, though. Please don't take this as an insult, more a curiosity question. What is the advantage of doing a completely CG Napoleon versus filming an actor? It seems to me like it would cost much more to do it all CG and, although it is an amazing animation, there are a few spots (and only very very minor) in his monologue where the CG jumps out at you.

                        Just wondering,

how many people? is face all hand-animated?

                            great work!
