  • Honda Accord 2008 re-render

    Hi there,

I did a project last year that required me to render a Honda Accord 2008. Since then I have learnt a lot more about lighting etc so I thought I'd update my renders for this vehicle.

I created my own HDRI in photoshop..really simple and quick and it really worked well compared to the lighting setup I had previously using vraylights set to plane.

    Regards

Yep looks really nice alright - I'd probably put an extra plane over the roof to show its arch and separate it from the background a little, and also one over the bonnet to show the crease down the centre. Looks great either way!

To me the paint looks a little too metallic, almost like it's polished metal rather than metallic paint. Maybe it's just due to the reflected environment. Still looks pretty nice though.

The finish actually is a polished metal look. That was one of the finishes available for the car.
