  • Passive House Project

A small visualization aiming to show a possible passive housing project. Several still images and a small animation were rendered to illustrate the concept. The timeframe was pretty tight. We wanted to show the possible housing in a suburban like warm, friendly, welcoming environment, meanwhile to avoid the latest trends of heavy post effecting, but still creating a realistic, somewhat romantic setting.

The interior and the animation was a bonus, so several flaws are more apparent there.

And the animation cen bee seen here, on Vimeo:

    Hope you like it.

    Best regards,
    A.

Both exteriors and the anim are really really nice! Cool texturework on the road with the cracks and stuff...

The trees and bushes/hedges all look amazing! Xfrog?

oh, and did you use vray fog to fade the background trees?

Exteriors are fantastic - but I think the interior is not quite as tight. I think it's mostly the floor that isn't working for me.

            Great job overall.

Really amazing, it's been a while since I've posted anything, actually since I've render anything, and I must say that I love your exterior images, is there a way you could explain me how did you lit up your scene? and the parameters used?
In the interior shots, I must agree with simm the floor looks quite odd, and the materials used on the sofa too.
              Thanks again

Fantastic exteriors. Great light. I would second the question about the atmospheric depth. Vray fog?

excellent exteriors. is everything CG in the exteriors or is there some camera matching going on? What did you use for your plant material?

I really like those two exteriors, as you said, the interior seems a bit rushed compared to them. what really strikes me though, it's all the work which has been devoted into making the vegetation. as if it was the actual subject of the images, while the house it's kind of forced into the background.
