Quick job to illustrate a new range of wallpaper. VrayRT really proved it's worth on this one, in setting up lighting and making materials.

DOF is courtesy of Vray, I can never get it quite right in post, prefer to trust in Vray. I must admit though that some of the OOF highlights on the glasses came out a tad noisy and sparkly, so I just used the blur tool in photoshop to smooth them out. (dont tell anyone)

from a photography point of view, id probably focus on 'something' in the first image :P

also the gold wallpaper image, you would be better off focused on the glasses.

tricky thing with this job was that its about the wallpaper, you naturally want to focus on other things. When you flick through the brochure, I think these compositions and focus points work as you are interested in the wallpaper designs. When viewing the images as vray renders, I totally agree that the focus points and compositions seem a bit strange.

I guess the focus of the first pic is on the wall, which is, well, what you should be looking at. same goes for the third one I guess.
