  • Tower...yet again

Well. i was dead bored and thought. hey. lets add lots more geometry to the tower. and voila. this is what i got. Dont worry. there will be a cloud pass that will be obscuring alot of the tower from this distance. So the ugly looking tiling effect wont be as much

That center piece will be remodeled. ill be adding something like this to it...this is the inside view. i built this about 5 years ago

Someone help my bordom. hehehe. what should i do to the tower?

great design Da_Elf , yeah defenatly some clouds too make it look realy tall, mabey flock of birds & some guards, I think that these would help with the scale (make it look massive)

the water fall looks so groovey, how'd you do that? just an image?

    ...oh and some flags

              Hi Elf,

Here is a small suggestion related with the porpotions of the big rectangular whole. It seems a strutural weak poit of your tower, it will be impossible to do that in real life with stone work. I think you should place some strutural elements there.

good point. hehehe. not like i know anything about archetecture or know enough engineering on how to make it structurally strong. heck. its a wizards tower. i bet in real life that balcony could never be built

The balcony is "canterlivered" and looks like it would work. Goncalo is right about the point where the two cylinders meet - you need more structure to make it work in real world (the real world when they built castles out of stone - now they're steel /concrete frames with stone veneer). It looks quite nice though. Maybe where that window is I would make some bandings or something to pronouce it - maybe a window sill type thing.

well, i was kinda referring to the fact that in the first pic, the waterfall appears to only go so far and then stops, like somebody forgot to pay the water bill, got the water shut off, paid the water bill, got water turned back on then quickly floated outside and took a picture. hehehe anyway you get the point

I am pretty much detail guy, if it were up to me, i would concentrate more on the age of the structure, does it have rain water stains? Think how the harsh winds blow at that elevation, will it have cracks? lighting bolts damage? etc etc.

i was looking at it abstractely, and in the first pic, it sorta looks like a face drooling.

the eyes are those 2 huge windows, the cantilevered thing the nose, and the waterfalls are coming from the mouth

                              yes, i am partly insane.
