One of our latest cinematics from RealtimeUK.

The movie is 100% 3D (some people ask ) was made in 3dsmax and rendered in Vray. Post effects were done in After Effects and Look Suite.

All of the cars were hand animated using the same rigs we developed on Split/Second and the Motorstorm movies.

Production took place over 8 weeks, and was completed by 5 artists.

If i have to say proper something to say not only congratulations or wow or huge or impressive, i'd say only something about the asphalt sometimes seems too dark and not enough reflective for some points of view. For the rest .... huge, impressive work, shocking work, amazing and all the best can be said about the video. Nice dynamic, nice materials, nice effects, nice models, nice lens flares.
Eh eh I loved Aston Martin kick out Ferrari

    Sorry for my bad english

    Congratulations

          Very nice!

Did you keyframe the cars, or simulate?

The colour grading is absolutely excellent.

It's so good that the only crits I can make are super anal nit-picking ones so please feel free to just laugh them off...

                      - The flares from the headlights as the cars come round the corner (around 26-27 seconds) feel stuck on (but these are the only ones).

                      - The final shot of the cars looks/feels a little off. The perspective of the cars doesn't seem to match the camera angle/background - basically it feels like the cars should be getting a lot longer as they approach us & they stay pretty flat.

Like I said, I'm being a massive twat even mentioning these as the overall movie is outstanding.

How many people worked on it?

                          Thanks Guys!

Out of all of the movies we've done at RealtimeUK, this is one of my favourites.

To answer one of the other questions, all of the cars were hand animated using the same rigs we developed on Split/Second and the Motorstorm movies.
