Pretty smart looking! Did you model the car or is it an off-the-shelf product?

Cheers. The car was from a previous project where I used CAD data.

I see what you mean now. Not sure why I missed a glaringly obvious error....

            Heres an updated version.

One comment, the side doors is very dark, does not seem real.

                  Congratulations!

I used a HDRI to light the whole scene. Im wondering if the plane I set the car on is possibly affecting the reflection back onto the car...It should be just reflecting the road back from the HDRI I thought..if you set the vray plane to alpha cont-1 and select matt object ?!

You must disable "visible in reflections" in object properties (vray)

A trick I do is to apply a vraymaterial w/HDRI as diffuse map to the matte ground plane - that also solves the problem

Hi Steve.. thanks for buying the location

Without DOF it's for sure a lot better, and does look like you have an object under the car that is reflecting in the car which it shouldn't, getting a more interesting reflection on the side should be possible.

Also I think you should work on the windows, they stand out a little bit too bright and like they are milky white, I would make them darker and maybe tint them green a little bit and then lower the reflections. And the b-pillar is bright grey, I assume it has to be black. And the rims could need some markings on the side.

Hope you are going to do some more angles

                          /Thomas

Cheers for the comments. I will definately come back to this soon and try out some different angles. Yeah, really impressed with this forest pack...I like the forest shots just on their own

I tell you what would be a nice addition to the packs...if you provided a max scene with a vray camera already setup ready for each backplate..just an idea
