What's up with the 2 groups of 4 buttons on either side? The mapping looks odd, or a strange reflection? Aside from that the model and lighting all look real nice.

Well, model wasn't done by me. I'm a viz guy for this project... so mapping is good, textures is good etc

the buttons are made of clear plastic, so the decals underneath shine through. it has to do with refraction not reflection

You really could use some reflection across the display portion. As the glass surface would reflect a good amount of the environment OR this is rendered at a bad angle as to not show any reflection on the glass surface.
