  • Water-Mill in a landscape

    Hi all !
Another test of Max+Vray + Gaelica.
    Everything is working well.
The scene is still too much dark.If someone could say how to light
it without saturate it and loosing contrast,is welcome.
Green rocks must be changed for another texture.
The animation works fine without touching any parameter except
the water that flows too fast if you don't change it.

The good thing is a very fast creation of the scene
    Bye all !

      Animation

      Hi Rerender !
You wanted to see the animation ??
      Here it is...

Well, sorry, the compression destroyes the colors like in a washing
      machine.
An other point.Butterflies fly but don't try to see a real one. They just
      follow a trajectory.
Ok ! I'm a bit lazy, I leave everything by default in Gaelica...
I just try to make a scene quickly.
      Bye !

very nice! trees an plants move great the butterflies need a little work when they fly they always are ascending or falling they flap, rise up and then fall a bit and the timing is very eratic. Some kind of spacewarp would be cool where the water meets that big rock in the middle. Again it really looks great.

              GAELICA

              Well, JG
I have already spoken about Gaelica.
It is a set of 3D tools that work as scripts in Max 4 and 5.
Very easy to use and it does not use memory like plugins.
You call it when you need with one tool in Max.
It is still developped and the developpers often send you new versions freely as Chaosgroup does.
I find it very cheap and usefull.
I wanted to buy some trees maker but with Gaelica it's quite enough in
              most cases.
A futur version may include Vray materials directly... They wait for an improving version of Vray to do it...They will also add birds, new trees,
new bushes, I hope...The grass is nor interesting at all but they say it
will be turned into flowers creator.
Everything is textured and animated, you just have to add some details
and rearrange the parameters as you need.A few mn is necessary to
              setup a scene.
              Here is the link.

What about the animation Rerender, as I said you, I'was a bit lazy.
Some details must be added. It wasn't my goal !
All the parameters are on default mode...So it helps you a lot
to start a job. Moreover they often improve their soft.I'm sure they will
do something for the fly. They alreay improve the trees and add some
              new kinds.They work good ! for a lazy guy like me...Hehe !
              Bye !
