Hi guys,
I feel a bit silly posting an image just after Alex Roman.
But there you go - my entry to It's Art's When we left earth competition.
The competition is closed now, but comments and crits still much appreciated.

Nice job man. I thought the bldgs were photos myself, until I saw your wip.

Looks awesome, not really sure I get the idea behind stacking the containers though. One thing I am curious about is what is the blue bird like shaped object in the top left. My only crit would be that the street lights look a bit too shiny and new in relation to how worn out everything else is, like the street sign next to it. Apart from that the render is really very nice. The materials and mapping is very good, the lighting is great. Overall an incredible image!

Thanks a lot guys. Clearly, modeling the buildings was the most fun. Otherwise, I must admit the rest is just a feeble attempt at integrating these into a "leaving earth" concept - mankind is packing up, hence the containers... Oh well...

i ldont mind the containers they look cool...heheh =) i would throw a model of one random thing almost like giving the humans a reason to pack and go !

Nice camera angle. Buildings look nice and detailed.But I think center of focus are less detailed than buildings.
