    Hello all

    Happy new year for all, health and prosperity for this year !

    I'd like to share my latest job made in France. I was alone and had 1 month to achieve the project and i have done it with Vray sp4.
    this was a really great job, the research of those specifics provencal french textures was a great challenge. Those specific textures were done with my nikon D70 and Vrayscatter help me for ALL the vegetation, environment and also the gravels... yes i know my doctor tell me the same things...

    neat, what time of vegitation are you using?... it need a little work, however i like the overall feel

              Yes ! they need... i'd love to re-work on it to make a really great displacement map... i've just one day to take the pics and made a map... not so many time to make a really good displacement map but i m workin on it wheen i could have time, and maybe re-render it with !

                great work. The rug in the bedroom is kinda weak though. More then made up by those gorgeous sheer curtains. You sure those are cg?

                    I'm also interested by the vegetation you used for this project?
                    Could you say more about it? especialy the olive trees, it seems you have some différent model, and cypress too.

                        Yes, trees are based on xfrog that i've use by the pass and modifi third time, i've done it with bones and skin to curve well trunk and branches.
                        Cypres are also xfrog but i've re-do the shaders
                        Lavander are home made.

                        And percydaman, curtains are cg lol

                          Did you compose the sky in post, there is this cool whitish aura effect to the trees in the first three shots that I really like. I think it is called atmospheric dispersion but I never seen it proper in a render with mid-to-long range placed objects. Usually I only see the common graded sky from bottom to top and the objects, in this case trees, don't get no atmospheric dispersion love.

                            yes i've compose the picture, but, the sky is a vraysky... and this aura effect is the result of a glow and a sharp alpha.
