Hi Guys,
You may (or may not
) be interested to know that we've been using VRay extensively in the production of "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" TV commercial & website experience.
Here's a quick breakdown of the software involved:
Village, train, castle and owl all modelled and animated in 3DS Max and rendered in VRay. VRayScatter was used for the trees and shrubs in the TV advert and website fly through.
Planetside software's Terragen was used for the distant environment and lake in the TV ad.
e-on software's Vue for the clouds, sky, trees and surrounding environment in the website intro.
