Hello all, just a quick image i produced in a day, + design work. Not the best design but low income work is pretty generic and monotonous. =P

Looks good for a days work One thing that catches my eye is the bit of colour (flare?) on the tree at right. If that's flare then it doesn't make as much sense without the light source behind it.

Yeah, good for a days work!
I really like the grass and slighty hazy/soft/specular bloom feel.
Not loving the brick material. Looks like very old brick while the design is quite modern...

i hate brick too. lol most of this work up north requires brick neverthless. =( so its mandatory. and all of the surrounding work is so old they dont want the modern overtaking the old structures.....touchy subject. ive explained there are other ways to do this. but hey thats what they want lol.

you say you designed, built the model and rendered in one day. What did you use for modeling?

3d max.... I have generic windows and curtain walls i pull from other models adjust heights and throw around as long as it had the spacing between one side and the other for dorms i was gtg. =) once you improvise a certain amount of times for a certain type of facility it kind of comes natural, im sure others can agree. =)
