Fantastic image - great details, nice lighting. Might just like to see a bit more difference in the colour of wood on your figure and the background so he separates a bit more. Minor though - it's a great image.
Brett ... I actually used same wood but I did some color correction on the one used for doll. It's something like 20% brighter and less saturated.
Sandy ... thanks man.
Janosik... I'll send original image soon... it has heavy post.
jozef_chvojka ... thanks for that karma point, first one I ever got.
Daniel... thanks. If I was working 8 hours per day, that's one week. Stretched over my spare time, it actually took around 2 weeks. But I count everything in working days.
Hey InTercepto
Great story telling, material, composition...............
Love the work.....
I was wondering can you share your settings.....or tell me what do you do different that makes your image look so realistic.
bluediablito ... I used DMC Min 2 Max 50 with noise threshold set to 0.002. Adaptive amount was 0.9 ... and rest of the stuff was left to default values. I do a lot of postprocessing maybe that helps with more realistic look. Sometimes strange colors, contrast and CC makes images more pleasing to eye than RAW renders.... I know I can achieve same thing by tweaking light and materials, but CCin in post is way faster.
ghiom3d ... thanks!
I promised RAW and color corrected comparison, so here it is...
Cool! i must say it seems like a medieval times Toy Story Version....lol =) I also like the RAW image wood color better, =) expos is better in the corrected. heheh
