  • Milan: Breathing Building

    Hi all,
I think this is my first job I'm posting.

My company where i work opens a new flagship store in Milan in the end of February.
I made all the interiors images for the internal approvals and two images for the press previews.

Here you can see a comparison from the original photos (made by me with a Lumix DMC-LX3, saved as raw and re-exposed in post) and the final result.

And last the one of the photos made by a photographer (I don't like too much the color correct but it's a personal point of view)

    Best regards

That's a really interesting facade treatment. Its like the building has scales! I'd love to see them all gently flapping in the breeze.
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

Cool, I like very much the rendered images and your compositing work
...but, I'm sorry, not the building
...it's 5 min from my office, so I see it every day and, as a professional architect, I don't think it's in the right place (talking about its own design)
maybe the with the "brise soleil" opening randomly it could be better but, for now, I have always seen it totally closed, I mean like the photos and not like the render.
      IMHO

Very nice compositing and rendering, Bardo.
Pity the bg pictures were taken in a muddy lighting...

thanks for all your kind words

Actually the lighting of the bg pictures is really bad and it was difficult to change it and turn it in a beautiful and shining day.

            @zeronove
about the plates, I asked to our project manager and they told me that at the moment the plates move for 5 minutes and they are still for 25minutes. If you see every day , you could check if it's true..
