  • straps [somewhat nude]

A little personal rendering done to test some things i sadly never use in production.
Straps were made with Ncloth, eyebrows with painteffects, and naturally maya hair. Of course rendered with vray.
    No retouching.
Of course, comments and crits are very welcome

not too shabby. was the skin done using SSS at all? The hair is looking a little flat, not sure if its the shading or the lighting though. I know hair can be tough.

Can you post a picture of what you would like the hair to look like ? You can use the specular power to increase/decrease the size of the specular hilights, higher specular power will give a smaller highlight. I guess you figured this out already, but anyway.

I just find the hair not looking good, not "healthy" enough It's just always too diffuse
I guess i have to find the right relation between hair thickness, specular power, and specular color.

            Thanks
