  • Summer time re-visit

    Hellooo,

Just a day time/summer time version of the dusk building. I decided not to use vray displacement for the grass so I could get some back lit colours working. The grass is created using vray proxies and vray scatter. There are also some weeds and ivy at various places on the ground too.

    Looks nice Steve.

Kinda losing some detail in the grass on the left, but that might just be the res of the posted image.

Maybe I boosted the contrast up slightly too much...I did some dodging and burning in some areas too..

Looks nice, same comments about the grass looking a bit blown out. Nice feeling overall and the trees look very nice, too.
What is on the ground to the left? Looks like gray grass in the larger post.

Love like the atmosphere, I have a hard time getting my vrayenvfog to not be too brown. Any special settings?

Voltron: Not sure what bit you mean...to the left and back the green colour is lost because of the fading into the distance..

Powerandrubber: I didnt use vrayenvfog, i used zdepth insersed and then screened on top at about 35% opacity. It tends to seperate the background and foreground objects nicely giving the foreground more focus.

Peter: Cheers. Glad you like it

Thanks Fekta. Yes, the grass is quite dense. On my next set of images for the new project Im giong to add some more variation and density to the grass.
