i did not post for a long long time, but we got our new homepage up and running.

Well, I did not care for the homepage. Mostly I found the video distracting and at first made me feel like it was a futball specific site...
Your Archiviz Show Reel in the Workshop/blog is excellent! Congrats and thanks for sharing.

gruesse von einem kollegen aus dem bezirk... you did some competition-work for architect heinz lutter back in the days when i worked there, if i remember correctly? didn´t work on that project though. we now made the step and have our own firm too. anyway, nice to see some colleagues from vienna around here. there must be a few more hiding around here i guess! plastic_ for example, hehe..

i really wanted a slim homepage and the soccer clip is mainly an animation tests we did and also a tribute to the world cup in south africa.
by the time the world cup is over, we will put our archviz reel on our main page.

I have never liked websites that think it would be fun for the viewer to have to work to find anything. Who's got the patience and time? I never made it to the showreel and i doubt many (as in none) potential none computer literate clients would either. i know ours wouldn't. if you made it for the "industry" and web savvy people then i would ask "Why?" To just show off? I'm guessing that they aren't the ones that will be sending you work. The sites that i appreciate are the ones geared for "clients" not coworkers and fellow game players.
But that's just my humble opinion....for what its worth.

@mikeh: interesting critics. Do you find it hard to find your way around on our webpage?
I am not a gamer myself and I usually don't like show-off sites. Our idea was to create a very simple front-page with only very few buttons and a blogstyle page with a little more depth. It is searchable with a simple structure.

And hey, the soccer reel is just temporary to celebrate the world cup. We will replace with our archviz reel soon.

I personally don't like static sites with galleries that don't change for years and crazy designer flash sites that are a pain to navigate.

Well, anyway if you don't like the wrapping, I hope you like the content

Yeah, it's kinda weird that it opens with a video. It's not obvious that theres a site behind it.

I also couldnt find your showreel, the only link on there was a private video. Scrolling is very slow in IE and opera too, not sure whats up with that.

What do you mean with privat video? And do mean scrolling is slow on the blog?
I tried it on many different systems and that never was an issue.
