An update...well...sorta. Hate the trees though.

    Hi!

I think the images look a bit washed out. The shadows look to weak for a sunny day.

I adjusted one of your images in PS (levels):

Also the second image looks more like it's a rainy day, altough the background is blue with some clouds in it.

    Good work!

i agree, the lighting could be stronger. it looks as tho your environment is blowing out your sunlight to give it that faded look.

        re

Thanx for the comments guys...I think I did over-desaturate the images, mainly because they were too saturated after they were rendered. It drives me crazy trying to get a satisfying color saturation in PS...sometimes I just want to leave the image B/W and be done with it.

Nice level of detail. I like the overall view.

I agree with Flipside and Psy's comment's about the lighting level. Very important to get enough contrast in your images.

The only comment I have is to either model some some corrugations onto your metal roofing or at least use a discplacement map on it. The camera view is too close to get away with just a flat map.

I like the overall the best , are the people geometry? or cards? Also if the parking lot is rendered it looks excelent! looks pretty good if it is a photo too

RErender..No photos in this one. The people are digipeople...

sunny...we keep redesigning theses buildings and obviously the roof keeps changing...I got tired of throwing up grid helpers and modeling every standing seam so I got lazy...although I haven't tried the displacement mod yet.

Fair enough. Amendments never stop coming. Don't I know it.
Definately give the displacement a go. It might take a little longer to render, but it will save you the modelling time. Particularly when it comes to other elements of the building changing on a frequent basis.

                Are these images final?

                    RE:

Sunny...these aren't the finals. We finally just recently had the new changes signed off on so I'm going to start revising them. The design changed about 8 times after I posted those images. I stopped working on it because I felt I was spinning my wheels. The designer I previously worked under just retired...a very gifted person...mentored under Mies Van Der Rohe. .."Mr. Design on a dime"...Made life easy. The new guy over-sold himself...has anyone had the oportunity to work w/ one of these? No, I'm not bitter. Once again I'm rambling......

Sounds familiar. It'd be cool working with someone who mentored with Van Der Rogh though.

I'd love to see your scene animated. Any plans for creating an animation?
