  • Mallcom Car Facility

    Hello,

This is a fast comercial work done for an Architect who created this car facility modules in a still unknown place.

If you ask me if i like the logo in the composition, i dont.
But i had to respect it´s form, size, position and client´s wish.

Done with 3Ds Max, Vray sp5, Photoshop, After Effects, Onyx Tree and Grow FX.

Guthrie´s style fan but with extra vray dirt and a tad different post production approach.

    Original renders = 4000px
    Web = 1600px

    Architect: Joana Azevedo
    3D Visualization: Metrocubicodigital

    Cheers,
    Metrocubicodigital

Moody. Odd composition though: either you have intentionally cut the logo in half, or there is a return in the building that masks the log which you can't quite see because the return aligns with the foreground of the building. You glass needs a bit of work, but other than that, pretty good for a quick job.
    Kind Regards,

      Hi Tricky.
About the composition its both things you mentioned.
If you check the other views i think you´ll understand what´s going on in between those volumes and logo.
Got to agree with the glass. Its giving me some headaches lately.

Dont know rly if it was quick job - took me about 1week and half working only at evenings.

      Thanks for the kind words.

        Update:
Reposted imgs. Messed a bit with the saturation and curves in another monitor, perhaps its better now.

Nice project - I think the 3D is really good and detailed - though the red car looks wrong. Like the color is washed out, maybe rims too bright maybe tires too dark. Don't, know exactly, but it screams at me. The building and environment is really well done.

I like the design but I think the style of the rendering is now the right one, if this is a brand new building your renderings show it like it has been there for many years and nowbody is taking care of the landscape and the building....it looks weird having a car dealer for expensive cars in the middle of nowhere...the tree on the corner (first view) shouldn't be there.

Its come an a lot (though I still have problems with the glass )

I'm interested to know how your client likes the 'dirty' appearence of the concrete/cladding. Personally, I like the style, but we'd have a hard time convincing our clients that a 'dirty/weathered' finish is the right way to go. Obviously, in reality, things would look weathered like this, but our clients typically want everything to look perfect (sadly).
