Wow, it has been a while... Oh well... Need some critique...
Looking to represent Weathered Wood Arch Shingles for the roof... But is the lighting ok, do I need to adjust some levels, etc....
I know the grass isn't done, but the displacement is taking FOREVER for some reason...

Maybe you can try to model the roof instead of making a texture, that will definitly look better. The model and plants all look good but it's the flatness of the textures that is killing it.

I agree... the roof is tiling and the vegetation is cut/paste and a give away. other then that, good work.

Yeah, the roof is killing me... The plants are models actually... I havent photoshopped plants in a while... I thought the plants looked ok... I hav ea new one with a new sun angle that really shows it off a little...

Your plants look fine, it's really the texture part, just model everything that is a model in real life and you'll see a big difference!

couple of updates... Still need to fix the roof, but just didnt have the time yet... added a couple of filters and photoshop tips from here...

better allready, less flat and if the roof is fixed i think your there, maybe add some glossy reflections and some reflections in the windows to finish it off.

Will do... You know its funny... The architect sais... how come the windows look different... make them all black and I had chairs on the porch....GONE... cause they were upside down.... THATS WHAT PEOPLE DO... LOL
