  • 3D image [Red-cyan] - Sectional View

    Hi All,

Had some spare time this weekend so here is my first attempt at a 3D image [Red-cyan]

Thanks Vlado for incorporating this cool new feature!
    Cheers

      Hey Jamie,

Where do you get the glasses from? Is the Red/Cyan pretty much a standard format?

Red -Cyan was the old style format for 3D images but it seems the later versions such as interlaced, checkered work much better as they don't mess-up the colours

              Great stuff, Jamie!

Can you elaborate a bit on your approach on this? Just trial 'n error or even more straight forward with background knowledge?

              best regards,

Good job... nice and subtle. I too would be interested in how you did the section view.

It's a very simple setp for the sectional view Bobby .

Just put you camera outside the house & use the Camera 'near' clipping plane to clip the external wall. Other than that it's just a normal scene.

                    Cheers

Are you finding a demand for these stereoscopic images?
                      Kind Regards,

No demand as yet but I just wanted to have a go at this technology so that when I client asks for it I can actually do it.

Red/blue is the same as red/cyan
I just that called it cyan as the blue is actually a light blue more like cyan

Very cool image. Works quite well.

I stole a pair of my son's 3D glasses and brought them into my office for stuff like this. He has lots from cereal boxes etc.

To the person who asked, you can get cheap anaglyphic glasses here as well:
