That is the best interior I've seen in a while. It really creates an atmosphere. The only thing missing (other than the women's knee) would be some puffs of steam rising out of the water.
Please, please tell us what light and rendering settings you used. It's like we're looking at photo!!!
The candles and the bottles are excellent!!!!! Same with hazy white glow coming through the window.
stop sucking up people. we all know that ever piece of work maxer does sucks bigtime. My granny has more GI skills than him. hehehe. naturally thats my way of saying nice work maxer well done

I have to agree with everyone else here and beg for info about those candles.
Also what are those bottles next to the candles? Are those bar codes on the labels?
As for the water it could be that the person just got out that is why it is so turbulent. As well the water could have some kind of additive to it like bublebath/aroma therapy stuff, that could explain the odd tint. I don't know.
I couldn't wait, so I gave it a try... I hope maxer doesn't mind.
This image turned out being very simple and completely plugin-independent.
1. The candle is a red chamfered cylinder with a gradient map w/noise in the self-illum slot and a bit of reflections. Same for the burning stick.
2. The flame is a plane with a white-yellowish diffuse color (100% self-illum) and a b/w painted flame/glow in the opacity slot.
There's an yellowish omni in the flame.
As for the environment, it could be anything. I just did a quick test trying to mimic maxer's material. The noise was added in PS, a recurring bad habit.
Wihout the fancy refractions and reflections, the image took 2 secs to render in my old laptop (1.8 P4, 512 ram). No GI. You could add things like melted wax pouring down the sides, sediments inside the candle, etc.
Hey Maxer! We're still waiting for your insights!
Best,
/Diego
ps. There's a problem with our webhost today, hence the slow DL.

because it's80%the same mat as my
