latest project. it´s not our design. it was done to convince "older" people to put money in that project....you know what i mean and you know their taste the biggest problem was the size. they wanted to plot the picture with 4.00 x 2.00 meter. you can imagine my face when i heard that the picture below is just a very small image. and i took out most of the people. normaly i hate photoshop people. the jpg-compressing also erased some depth and colour

rendertime abou 10h with 5 machines, each doing its own a part with irradiance map. to see the original renderoutput here some cutouts:

    statue
    angel ceiling
    mirror

or the much bigger resolution done with s-spline (thanks goncales !)

    statue 18000
    angel ceiling 18000
    reflection window 18000

the image is not really my taste, but hey..... but at least it´s a job

Beautiful, great detail. I love the glow on the chandelier.

there a LOT of lights in it. most of them area lights.

the glow of the chandelier is NO photoshop. it took several hours to test the best material for it. just the few rays are done with phtotoshop and with the "frischluft" plugin
