I haven't had a chance to create any renders for fun in a long time. Any ideas on how to improve this image?

seeing that MacGyver is on TV, hehe maybe you can add a rope, chewing gum, and a feather on the table, and in the next view you can remove the wall asif he used it to somehow take out the wall with common objects hehe.
But seriously, nothing much to improve, looks pretty good as is. Maybe the chair material could do with some tweaking

hehe...i like it. i chose MacGyver because i thought something somewhat old school on the tv would fit the scene. thanks for the comment. btw, i agree with you on the chair texture. ill tweak it.

Maybe the bump is too strong and could do with being inverted?

DUST DUST DUST A lot of noise in air, air dirt fog, volume lights, caustics and more !

Easy

Go to one of ur rooms
Take all stuff out/buy black cloth
Black everything out
Get camera + internal flash or external - fancy that ha !
Go grab some dirt/cooking powder(the white1)/and other little particle stuffs
Get few slawes to threw stuff in air as you take pics
Take 150 raw files
pray at least 1 will work

/ Side note u might want to get fan for air and blur effects / extreme hihihih


Alternately just rip of some smoke brushes of www and fuc* it up in photoshop

looks good, may be adding lil detailing like chipped off paint or broken edge.. to places like window edge can make it more realistic..
