    Looks good. the light in the windows and the light fro the fire would be pretty overwhelming as compared to the light coming from the sky - I'd burn them out a lot more. I reckon the next stage for you in terms of training your eye is to get a cheapy digital slr and start shooting photos in similar lighting situations to your renders. For example in your backlit renders of buildings or even interior renders where you have windows with light coming in from outside you'll get a better sense of how bright things are when you expose correctly for different subjects.

      Expensive hobby, but I would love to take it up. I use Google images a lot for references.

        Even a second hand canon 350d with the kit lens would do it - all about getting the balance right in your pictures!
