heres an image we just completed for a charity premiere of the italian job...the stadium behind is a photo

the model was a low res model built by stecki http://www.turbosquid.com/HTMLClient...lAuthorExact/y

and then we ripped it apart, took the tris out and remodeled around it and applied out higher res textures and materials so it would all reproduce nicely at poster size.

As a British citizen who remembers the original film, I won't post my thoughts about the re-make on this civilised forum

But your rendering is top notch I think the lighting is excellent.

Was the motion blur for the wheels done in post, or part of the render ?

i know what your saying about the film

the motion blur was done using max's standard motionblur and a quick light setp and comp'd in afterwards, we approached it that way because we were a little pressed for time and were more confident about max's render times rather than perhaps having a longer rendertime in vray due to GI and motion blur and highres all being involved.

The lighting is just a direct, the background was projected onto a cylinder and a false fake floor put in to generate some bounce from below.

          Cheers,

          Rob
