My showreel 2011

Hey all. I recently became a free agent so quickly knocked up a showreel the other day. Its a bit long but otherwise pretty happy with it.

Most of the work on it was completed during my time at the fabulous Last Pixel, truly a great group of guys to work with.

Good stuff man. Nice tracking. What setup have you got. Im in the process of getting to grips with syntheyes so would love to know the HD cam you use. Do you have problems with rolling shutter ?

Regarding cameras, most of the heli stuff was with one form of XDCam or another, though the opening shots (00:06 - 00:27) were just interlaced SD footage (I had no control over that and was not present for the shoot).

The green screen stuff at 00:58 - 01:18 was shot with a RED One. No massive issues with rolling shutter, though, as we weren't doing very dynamic stuff with the cameras.

I love working with Syntheyes. I don't get to do lots of work in it so its usually a treat and a nice challenge to get a rock solid solve.
