For most of these exteriors i see ive got a question. Ive never been able to see through those widows. Do you guys do any actual indoor modeling? or the windows are just reflective and not refractive. Sure it would be dark inside but if there was another window on the other side you would see right through the house wouldnt you?

MSN addresses are not for newbies or warez users to contact the pros and bug them with
stupid questions the forum can answer.
But a few details would make it perfect :
- The vegetation is really well placed except the 3 little "cypres" aside stairs that seem to bend toward the house
- The human bitmaps seem a bit dull, the should be given some more self-illuminate or more gamma (in pshop).
- The roof is a bit "gridy"
- The shadows maybe a bit blured
Despite it there's life in you're picture !
It's not common in architectural rendering.
Congrats !
what are you using for the hedges, bushes ans plants ? rpc ? dosch ? or just photoshop ?
It looks like a combination of RPC people, Image cell shrubs and plants. I like the grass texture, however, I wish RPC would make people for daylight environments. I also like the trimed hedge in front.
Still I always see a difference in photorealism between the building and the plants and especially people. I never saw a rendering where the people looked real. Sometimes plants come very close though. In this image I find the background trees good and the one in the top left, in front of the camera. The people definately look fake, I think mainly because their contrast/levels don't match the image. The man's position is a bit weird too imo.
For the rest I like GI detail and shadows, overall lighting etc... The grass is pretty cool also!

flipside
Yes, I would agree. That's one of the downsides of the RPC people. They are really made for indoor environments where the room is flooded with light. As I said earlier, they need some daylight people with hard shadows.
