  • Yalla Asia - Dog morph shot

    Hi again,

Thought as I was here I would post more

After having completing work on our first vray job (http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...336#post455336), I decided I would use it again for a shot I was working on out of hours for a friend and the music video he was vfx supervising.

I was tasked with animating and rendering just the car. The fx were done by a friend in houdini and comped together by another friend using Nuke. You can read about the shot and how it came together here http://www.erikvandertier.com/posts/blog/

    Thanks,

    Rich

Effects look really good, I feel though that the timing between when the dogs dissappear and the car shows is bit... off? too long maybe? also... no driver in the car? :P

I love the dynamics of the car ! speedy and bumpy

Yeah maybe. To be honest we all thought it was too short! The timing of the shot was cut down from 10 seconds to like 4 seconds so we had to trim a lot of the timings.

It is a special car that drives itself! Client did not want driver in it. Clients can be very funny people.
