  • EBGE 2011 / Promotion Category Intro

    Hi,
we, at Monologue, recently finished a small project for the Greek festival EBGE 2011,
we had to create the Promotion Category intro and of course we used Vray.

We really hope you'll enjoy it.

Really nice, Chromatic aberration in post or 2.0?

My favorite shot is the first screen shot. Any interesting techniques used to create it? It's great.

          Thank you for your comments!

MoonDoggies: The chromatic aberration was made in post, we tried to keep render time as low as possible (around 1.30mn - 2mn per frame),
so depth of field, motion blur, and chromatic effects were all added afterward during the compositing process.

Shots 1 - 2 and 5 use the same technique, it's a BlobMesh with a particle system as a Blob Object. Shot 1 has a Vray Displacement Mod
with an animated procedural noise on the BlobMesh. We just finished a tutorial for a 3d magazine (in French) describing how to realize such effect,
once published we'll translate it in English if people are interested.

          AJ Jefferies and Pskdude: Thanks!
