  • WIP: Interior Panorama

Here is my first image using vray advance...

this is just a WIP image, furniture and objects still need to be added to the scene.

    C&C are welcome.

specially some suggestions for the glass material.

quickTime must be installed in order to view the panorama.

        I rendered straight out...
i used irradiance map for the first bounce
and Global Photon Mapping for the second bounce

none of them were stored or reused cause that caused a
different look in every virtual side of the panorama environment.

rendertime was pretty good as i used multiframe incremental for the first bounce...

the panorama resolution was nearly 2400x1200 pixels. this is a pretty good size for web or desktop presentation.

        thanks!

Multiframe incremental? strange. why not just use a cubic camera and just render once. The split it up in photoshop and import to panotools or some other 360 degree software program

The spherical camera works now.. you just need to render to a square aspect ratio and resize it down to a 2:1 in photoshop.. use it all the time to get panoramas..

                Here is the final rendering...

by the way, i used Incremental add to current map not multiframe incremental... sorry about that.

this version is optimized for web viewing.

I used Autodesk VIZ 4 and the panorama exporter utility.

                    Thanks!

Setting the pixel aspect in max also works, that way you don't have to do anything in PS and you save half the rendering time.
