I think it has something to do with the map filter (texture blur bug).

                      hi !
                      pretty nice !
you should reduce the level of reflexion of your floor a little bit.
and reduce the noise of your room. seek the web and vray forum to see how you can do that.
stronger light, more bounces, more photons...
will increase rendering time but you'll get something clearer.

                      good luck !

photons and bounces adjustment - Can you help Jean-Paul

                          Jean-Paul,

I have a bit the same problem in my interior rendering as ivvn. Can you explain how and where to adjust the amount of photons and bounces? I know that I can adjust the photons if I use a directional light, but can I do the same with the environmental light too? and what's about the bounces - it's not the same as the subdivisions, or?

                          Ivvn,
it seems that you use only environmental light. there are no real highlights and to use some colors or different kinds of wood might also help a bit.

                            Jean-Paul Paloux , i agree u point.
But this room it's a compromise between speed rendering & quality
                            Rendering time it's ~10min.

sweichert,u are right about the environmental light . The colors are chosen by the client.

When i have more time i willl play wiht the scene.

For 10 minutes, that's pretty good. Did you use QMC / LC?
