Is the projection a projected image or a special material? Looks nice real, the mix of the different lightsources.
Are the white squares TFTs? If yes, a texture would be nice here.
I have the feeling, the blueish foreground light at the ground catch the eyes to much and the front lighting makes the image looking a little bit flat. I have try to dim the light in the foreground in photoshop. So, the room at the walls and the projection plane could get more attention.
I like the image. Don't agree about the lcd comment completely. Ever tried to photograph a screen in a closed environment? It will look blown out completely if you expose your picture to show the space. But maybe you could let it shine trought just a little bit (like the projector image but then even brighter)
be sure to have a lot of mesh, or reduce the max angle in the meshing...etc to get a smooth rounded surfaces. Your metal ring or even your round curved panel is made of straight lines right now and will be easy to fix with mroe meshes.
For boxes it's not that important, but on curved surfaces it is

@Micha: Thank you!
concerning the TFT -> customers wish, the foreground light is the result of the front opening were the camera is located and were light enters the building, the structure is actually based on a dodekaeder you can see it here:
@Flipside: thanks for the suggestion, if i find the time i will try...
@Jean-Paul Paloux: Good Eye! Yes you are right about the mesh, needs more polys, on the other hand the real thing is weld together from straight tubes and would apear even more angular, but I admit that is a kind of lame excuse...
