  • Lovers day (dia dos namorados)

    Dear all

This is my first decent test in Vray, I?m new to render in all aspects.

Any comments are welcome, I also have some questions that I appreciated you experts to help

1-After the render if I save the image seems to lose quality, how can I prevent this ???
2-Were can I increase the quality of my image?? Like pixels ,etc?
3-What are those strange 2 balls that get reflected in the image?? I belive that this is something due to the background HDRI that I used.
4-How do I create one simple image with all the configs that I used in Vray?? Like Pif did in his Cryo project

    Thanks
    Sergio

First I would make sure you have a high quality mesh. Then I would make sure you have no normals pointing the wrong way. Also make sure your refractive materials have the "Double-sided" option turned off. If you have all of the above then that should make that glass look a lot better.

      Hey Sergio,

Is that a model you sent me? If not, and you want to, send it and I'll render it like I would and send the rhino file back so you can check it out.

        New tests

        Hi Wouter

Yes the model is the one I sent you, but I also created a new design on the model, maybe my customer will want to buy the rights for this

Made two more tests, they are exactelly the same, but one has a wood texture and ther other doesn't.

I also don't know what means 99% of the params in vray, i just go with trial and error.

        Thanks
        Sergio
