  • Displacement test

I've just been playing around porting some stuff to Rhino 4...here's a blob with a simple noise tex displacement map on it. I'm just a programmer - so keep your criticism on my scene to yourself

      Displacement test

      Nice!!!

Could you give us more info about displacement?
      Does it support procedural textures?
Does it have 2D, 3D and subdivision mapping type like VrayforMax?

      Thanks

Yep - the image above is using our procedural noise texture.

I'm not seeing any param that lets me choose different types - so I suppose its just one of those. Vlado would know for sure.

It corresponds to the 3d displacement mode in 3dsmax.

Thanks Vlado, but it seems 2d displacement mapping is faster in some cases, any chance to implement it?
