  • getting the context right

I have been putting into practice the 'reflection on glass' thing and also using what I think are called 'billboards' (site images, pasted on a plane to enable reflections and backgrounds). The room you can look into is lit with sunlight with a little help from a rectangular light inside.

    Looking good D.

I am very much in love with the subtle light and shading Vray can produce.
Light is so nice on those white walls.
That's something I only see in images rendered with Vray.
Can't wait to be experimenting again with Vray for sketchup.

I have an on/off (love/hate?) relationship with the software:
Always amazed with the quality it can produce, but sometimes frustrated with the learning curve.

    Thanks for sharing this image,

Yes - this, unfortunately, is a common feeling. We're hoping to be able to reduce this learning curve in the future. We are definitely geared more toward the advanced user at the moment.
