pls tell me whats wrong with my models, and tips hop to use omis and rectangular vray light/ and whats the use of the infinite thing adjacent to the omni and rectangular light?? plsss only got a day left for my deadlines..thanks

Here's what I can determine from looking at your images. First of all I am assuming your using Light Cache from some of your unfinished renders, and it looks like your subdivisions are way to high. This a problem for several reasons (1)the last 200 subdivisions take significantly longer to calculate then the first 200, meaning that the more you add the longer it will take. Right now you have way more then enough subdivisions, especially since your sample size is probably at the default value, meaning that all of those extra subdivisions aren't getting you any added detail anyway. (2) LC calculates things for the whole image at the same time, meaning that if you have allot of subdivisions, that will take up a lot of memory, which you probably don't have. That in turn slows things down allot (up to 1/4 of full speed in some of my tests). (3)Back to what I said in the first point, the sample size will ultimately determine how much detail the LC solution has, if the size is too big (and I would say that the default of .02 is too big) then high subdivisions will not add any detail, only refine the solution. (4) if the number of phases is set to a number that is larger then the number of available threads for rendering, then there will be extra time merging separate calculations when the separation is not needed.
The second major issue is that from the last two images it appears that you are using QMC for your primary bounces. QMC is the slowest method of calculation in V-ray. It produces great results, but at the large expense of speed. The other thing is that your QMC solution looks very smooth, which means that either your using far more subdivisions then you really need. A better method for primary bounces is Irradiance Mapping. Not only is this method of calculation much faster, but it also has the ability to speed up the render by processing rectangular lights within that calculation.
The third thing I see is that your antialiasing settings are very high. Chances are those are still at the default settings which are very good quality for most settings. The defaults also use adaptive QMC which is a slower means of calculation. Personally I use Adaptive subdivision for most of my renders, and a min/max rate of 0-3 works pretty well for final quality.
The Last thing is that you have got allot of lights in your scene, which is going to make things take longer. If possible try to omit some of them if possible, or use an invisible rec light instead. If you have any rectangular lights in your scene, the it is recommended to use Store With Irradiance Map as that will speed up the calculations drastically.
The default settings are not optimized for individual scenes and are really only meant for smaller resolution renders. Once you start increasing resolution a number of things happen which basically make the render times go through the roof. I don't even know what materials you have going on, but from the looks of it those really aren't the culprit. Posting a few details about that would be very helpful, as far as how many glossy reflections/refractions or how many light emitting materials.Damien Alomar<br />Generally Cool Dude

thanks for all the tips guys it helps me a lot in rendering my models . heres my second trial i understand now how to make my renders faster but i still need some tips and tricks with the materials you can see in my second and last renders the differece of render time but not much in the quality . its because of the lighting inside of my hanglight ,the problem is i dont know how to make it transparent and it has reflection ? this hanglights suppose to be fabrics but you can stil need to see the light.
thanks for the concern joe B ;D i would like to ask if you have some tutorials of clear glass/frosted glass/ blured wood for flooring and how to make lights that cant make my models render too long....(santosjd13@yahoo.com) if you got time thanks a lot guys io cant read all the post because i have lots of deadlines hope you guys can help me...pls... plss tell me all my mistakes and give me tips how to make it more realistic... thanks guys ;D
