It may just be me, but...I don't think that bench would stand up. Also, the concrete texture seams a little large and could probably use a bump map or something to give it some texture. The over head beams look a little shallow...I don't think those beams could span that distance with out having a bit more depth to them. I also don't think that they would be as glossy as the floor is either. I do like the floor; good texture and right amount of glossiness too. The lighting is good as well. Personally I would increase the size of the sun (I assume your using the sun) so that shadows get a bit blurry before the fall on those photos. Lastly I would use a wider angle camera, that would really open up the room abit. Right now the camera has a little bit of a tunnel feel going with it. Sorry if this seams overly critical, but once you've got the big things and the overall feel taken care of (which you definitely do) they you've got to start paying attention to the details. And in the end the details really make the project. 90% there, just give it that last 10%Damien Alomar<br />Generally Cool Dude

really love your feedback. please be honest specially on rendering. really need to learn. you have a lot of things there were i need to look at. the cameral shot, big texture, glosiness of the beam. etc.
i used the sketch up sun. did not override with the vray sun. because im still having difficulty in using vray sun. i still have some problems wit it. when you say increasing the sun how to that. what shall i increae. im at the moment studying those parameters.
as for the bench. it is steal plate and its weld to the ground. (cant remove it) then riveted with composite material. it works on our test here though. many complain by the way as impractical. our principal and i quite like it anyway.
yeah there were some deatils forgotten here. those laminated false beam wood. they have hanging rods from the ceiling at 1000mm apart.
by the way those are actual paintings of our students here.

Glad your accepting of the feedback. Thats proof that you really want to learn.
With the sun there is a setting called size multiplier that basically increases the size of the sun as it appears in the sky. This does two things. The first one, which is largely inconsequential in this situation, is that the sun appears larger in the sky and reflections or what not. The second thing that it does, which is more of why I suggested it, is that it will cause your shadows to not be so sharp. In this case, I wouldn't increase it to much as I would only want to see the shadows start being blurry right at the bottom of the beams rather than under the paintings. This is for the most part my personal impression, so take it as you will. As for the size setting I didn't realize it for a while so don't worry about it.
As for the bench, I was just kind of kidding about it. There are times when we just build things in the computer because we can and don't necessarily worry too much about whether or not in is entirely feasible. If your actually going to build it that way the go for it. I for one would love to see more benches like that.

thanks for the feedback dalomar. i will take not those tips about the sky. with this it seems its the same as when using rectangular lights right. smaller size has sharper shadow.
you re always welcome to give me feedback because you know so much about this software.
by the way i wan to ask also about materials. i think david cauldwell said this in one of his post. again for example for the materials you want to put none. the old vray material is still there. is there in anyway to clear that.

If you have difficulty letting the sun in through your glazing try it with no glazing (!) - it works for me. Also if you use the vray sun and the camera you can get more control. I have been using a sun size multiplier of 10 (in the GI(Skylight) menu and it gives nice, soft shadows.
I really like the hazy glossiness on the floor and the bench(!) looks like it might double up as a springboard. Cool!

wow. the more i read the more i am learning from all of you guys here. do you know those multipliers i just put the default as 1. did not really realize the use of it. thanks for sharing. can you please clarify what is glazing? after yur recommendation i tried doing renders using vray sun and camera. That recent manual actually has good explanation on how the physical camera works (but not the vray sun).

i see. so its the glass itself, we really have different words. i think its a very good suggestion indeed. still i dont really understand, specially in puttin gtexture and removing them and again putting another texture, it seems vray has difficulty with this. i also use refraction with affect shadow and affect alpha plus glass as transparent, but it seems i cant still managed to let sun go inside the living area.
